About the model

This twin screw model has been designed to operate on 4 channel radio control and can be submerged from stationary, using an air pump system, or in motion, using forward dive speed. When completed with all her black colour scheme, she makes up into an unusual model of modern sleek lines and appearance.

Prototype history (click)
This was the first major class of submarine to be built for the Royal Navy after WWII. The boats were substantially remodelled in structure and outline from earlier classes, what we would all think to be the first of the model design submarines. This class was the first to incorporate the ‘snort’ underwater breathing system.
