WWII German “BIBER” one man submarine

About the model

The model is a single screw powered (ideal for 2 channel R/C) however an alternative is to use the torpedo props as the main drive, the model therefore be a lot more manoeuvrable.

The original model had diving by forward dive on the aft planes, however a dynamic diving system can be fitted if you want a static diving ability.

Prototype history (click)
These small one man submarines were built in great numbers at the end of WWII and were primarily designed to attach the Allied invasion force transport. They were not very particularly successful as they were forever having problems with reliability. Armament was a torpedo slung either side of the hull in shallow cutouts.
