This colourful harbour tug was built in 1976 and three such tugs were in service in the Middle East and the UK.
Prototype history (click)
Al Khubar 1 was black. Al Khubar 2 red and Al Khubar 3 blue.
It was powered by 2 x 6 cylinder diesel engines through twin kort nozzles and four bladed propellers.
