This model of HMS. SABRE was a Scimitar class fast training boat, based on the highly successful Brave class. Three boats were built, the other two being Scimitar and Cutlass. All were powered by 2 Rolls Royce Proteus gas turbines and were capable of over 40knots, two Foden diesels were fitted for cruising. Each was capable of being fitted with a third gas turbine and and gun armament if required.

This is a semi-scale model that is ideal for the modeller who wants a fast model, built light weight and fitted with R/C. and two 540 type motors performance on the water is quite exciting.
